How do I sign up for the digital edition?

New Subscribers:
As soon as you subscribe, you will receive an email that includes your own unique link to gain immediate access to the current digital issue. You can also access the current digital issue at adoptivefamilies-digital.com. You will be prompted to enter the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services in order to verify access.

As new issues become available,we will send an email with the link to the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services to access the newest issue.

Current Subscribers:
If you are an existing subscriber, you will receive an email with the link to the newest digital issue of Adoptive Families directly to your inbox. (Note: The link will be sent to the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services.)

Don't have an email from us with a link to the newest digital issue of Adoptive Families? Visit adoptivefamilies-digital.com and enter the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services to verify digital access.

Adoptive Families Digital General FAQ

1. Who has access to the digital edition?
The digital edition is free for print subscribers in the U.S. and Canada. Digital-only subscriptions are available to individuals outside the U.S. and Canada only. You must provide your email address to Subscriber Services to access the digital edition.

Please note: You have access to digital Adoptive Families issues only while you are a paid subscriber. You will retain access to the digital version of the issues you paid for even when you are no longer a subscriber.

2. What devices support the digital edition?

  • any computer Web browser
  • any iOS device (all versions of iPhone and iPad)
  • any Android tablet or smartphone
  • any Kindle Fire tablet
  • any other device with a mobile Web browser

The digital edition is available on any web browser by going to adoptivefamilies-digital.com and entering the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services.

3. How do I access the digital edition if I have not provided Subscriber Services with my email address?
You must provide your email address to Subscriber Services to access the digital edition. Please visit Subscriber Services to input your email address.

5. I have an iPad or an iPhone. Is there an Adoptive Families app and how does it work?
Yes, there is an Adoptive Families app, which is free to paid subscribers. Visit the iTunes Store to download the app at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adoptive-families/id598676418?mt=8. You must enter the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services once the app is downloaded in order to access your free digital subscription.

6. I have an Android device. Is there an Adoptive Families app?
Yes, there is an Adoptive Families app, which is free to paid subscribers. You must enter the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services once the app is downloaded in order to access your free digital subscription.

7. I have a Kindle Fire tablet. Is there an Adoptive Families app and how does it work?
Yes, there is an Adoptive Families app, which is free to paid subscribers. Visit the Amazon Appstore to download the app at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B9E94XK. You must enter the email address you have on file in Subscriber Services once the app is downloaded in order to access your free digital subscription.

9. How many digital issues do I receive during the year?
You will have access to 4 digital issues per year.

10. I live outside of the U.S. and Canada. How do I sign up for a digital-only subscription?
Please visit our international subscription web page to sign up for your international digital subscription.

11. I am an international subscriber to Adoptive Families magazine. Will I receive a print copy of the magazine?
No, Adoptive Families magazine will provide digital-only subscriptions to international subscribers. This will not include print copies of the magazine. You will have full access to all digital issues included in your subscription on the web, your smart phone, and your tablet.

12. Is there a digital-only subscription available?
At this time, we do not offer digital-only subscriptions unless you purchase a subscription through the iTunes Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon AppStore after downloading our app or you are an international subscriber living outside of the U.S. and Canada.

13. How do I contact Adoptive Families' digital customer service?
You can reach us by email at digital@adoptivefamilies.com with any questions you may have. Digital customer service is available Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm ET.


Adoptive Families App FAQ

 

1. How do I get the Adoptive Families app?

For paid subscribers:
The app is available for free for paid subscribers. Visit the iTunes Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon AppStore to download the app. Once the app is downloaded, enter the same email address you have on file in Subscriber Services.

Please note:
If you are a paid subscriber, do not select the one-year ($19.99) or single issue ($4.99) subscription offers once you download the app. By selecting either of these offers, you will be charged by the iTunes Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon Appstore.

For unpaid subscribers:
The app is available for download in the iTunes Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon AppStore. Once you download the app, you will have the opportunity to select a single issue ($4.99) or one-year subscription ($19.99).

2. What devices support the app?
The Adoptive Families app in the iTunes Store is compatible with iOS 4.0 or later iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The Adoptive Families app in the Google Play Store is compatible with any Android device. The Adoptive Families app in the Amazon AppStore is compatible with the Kindle Fire Tablets.  

3. How do I cancel the auto-renew subscription if I purchase a subscription from iTunes?
Subscriptions will auto-renew within 24 hours of the current subscription expiring. Auto-renewing subscriptions can be managed via Account Settings, allowing them to be turned off.

4. Can I cancel an app subscription?
No cancellations of the current subscription are allowed during the active subscription period.

5. How do I contact Adoptive Families' app customer service?
