 Nancy
Ng is co-editor of Adoption and the Schools: Resources for Parents
and Teachers and a long-time board member of FAIR (Families Adopting in
Response), an adoptive parent support organization in California, where
she has served as a group facilitator, workshop leader, and editor of FAIR’s
magazine, News from FAIR. She has a master’s degree in marriage
and family therapy and specializes in working with foster and adoptive families.
A mother by birth and adoption, Nancy has a particular interest in special
needs adoption and multiculturalism. She has served in a subcommittee of
the of the Governor’s Adoption Policy Advisory Council in California
and on the advisory board of Adoptive Families of America, and has presented
at local and national training conferences on adoption. She is a master
trainer of Kinship Center’s Adoption Clinical Training and is still
learning from her children.
