Washington State Adoption Council

Mark M. Demaray is an attorney licensed to
practice in the State of Washington where the
majority of his practice involves handling all
types of adoptions and assisted reproduction
matters.  He is an adoptive parent of two children
and is an Executive Board member of the Washington
State Adoption Council. He has assisted in the
review and drafting of adoption legislation in
Washington for many years, he frequently chairs,
presents and participates in workshops and
seminars on adoption and assisted reproduction,
was appointed to and served on the Washington
State Adoption Commission, is a Fellow in the
American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, and was
nominated by the United States Congress as an
“Angel in Adoption” in 2007.  He has helped many
families determine what type of adoption is best
for them and consults and assists in the process
of finding a child for adoption.
